Let’s walk through the software that you’ll want to use to create the best listening experience for your attendees, and the least amount of work for you.

Before you begin creating your on your Micro Audio Summit, or sign-up for any new software, let’s take inventory and evaluate what you already using to run your business.

The Micro Audio Summit System is purposefully built to be simple. And that means, whenever possible, use software that you already have in your business and are comfortable with.

And if you’ve been running an online business for any length of time, you will most likely all, or most, of the software you need to create high-value, in-demand Micro Audio Summits.

You don’t need to use the software that I use in order for this system to bring you hundreds of leads in the easiest, and shortest amount of time possible.

This System is “software agnostic.”

Use the Software You Already Have for Your Micro Audio Summit

Website, Landing Page, or Funnel Software

It doesn’t really matter which website or landing page software platform you use. Whether you’re hosting on WordPress, have a Showit website, or you use Clickfunnels or Leadpages, as long as you can make new pages and collect registrant information for your Micro Audio Summit, you are good to go.

Form Software

This one is super simple! You can use a free form software like Google Forms to collect information from speakers. If you have a more robust form platform (like Dubsado or Typeform, etc.) you can use that as well.

When you collect registrations from attendees, most often people use a form created from the email marketing system.

Email Marketing System

This is essential for the long-term growth of your business!

After all, the purpose of hosting a high-quality, highly-engaged Micro Audio Summit is to grow your email list. So you will need to have an email marketing software like Convertkit, Flodesk, or Activecampaign.

If you haven’t started growing your email list or have invested in an email marketing system, it’s time!

So if you don’t already use an email marketing platform, it’s time to make the investment – not just for your Micro Audio Summit, but for the long-term health of your business!

Google Drive or Dropbox

You’ll want to keep the assets for your Micro Audio Summit well-organized, and shareable.

For this, I recommend Google Drive to store all of the materials from speakers and promotional assets for speakers. This way, all of your speakers will have easy-access to materials and instructions!

Canva or a Graphic-creation Software

Many people know (and love) Canva, and since the platform has a free option, it’s a perfect tool for the graphics you’ll need to create for your virtual summit.

Scheduling Software like Calendly or TidyCal

If you don’t already have a software like this, then offer your speakers a few time options to choose from, and manually send them calendar invites.

Audio Editing Software (Optional)

After I record my interviews, I like to clean up the audio and remove any filler words, or “audio flubs” made during recording.

Many of my clients choose to have a contracted audio editor do this cleanup for them. I have a few people who I recommend to clients.

But – if you’re like me and want to do the audio cleanup yourself, I recommend a software called Descript.

This makes it as easy as editing a Word doc.
